Dear Dana,
Nice to meet you digitally!
I’m Chris Valias, Brazilian, 27 years-old. I’ve spent the last two years studying photography in Barcelona and in one of the trips I’ve made around Europe (Photo Book, Kassel, Germany) I had the opportunity to know your work. And I brought a piece of it with me: your book Not Natasha.
Back in Brazil, I’ve decided to open an art gallery in a small town in the country of Minas Gerais where I’m going to exhibit and sell photographs, paints and sculptures made by myself and other Brazilian artists.
Because I do really admire your work and I would like to pay homage to your great photographs, I was thinking of using your name as the name of my gallery. If it’s OK with you, of course. Before I go ahead with the idea, I need your authorisation. On the gallery's website, I would add a link to your website. I would love it if you would be OK with that!

Dear Chris,
It's really nice to hear from you. How kind that you got my book not Natasha from Kassel, Germany.
I would feel honored to have your gallery named after my name, thanks for asking,
if you think it is a good name for a gallery, please go ahead. I look forward to visiting it. I've never been to Brazil, so this can be a good excuse. Oh, yes, you can add a link to my website, in fact I would need to update that asap.
Some of your work is beautiful, like quite a few of the photos in infancia e coisa, especially the last one, I would like to see more of these. Or no10 and 13 and 14 from sopro vital, or the last one from paginas em preto e branco, nice work, well done.
I hope your art gallery will have a brilliant life,
Let's keep in touch,
and keep doing your work with love,
Best.
